Japan's Mythology #2: Kappa

       The Kappa is one mythological creature, it's like one turtle and have one crown on top of the head. In this crown there is water, the source of Kappa's strenght.
  The stories tells that they kidnap especially children, but they also kidnap adults and elderly. If you don't want to be kidnap by them and not they hijack your family you must write the names of your relatives in pieces of cucumbers, the favorite food of Kappas.
     If you are face to face with one Kappa, you must make it lower it head, the water in the crown will fall and the Kappa will need go back to the water .

Japan's Culture #2: Teru Teru Bozu



  Teru Teru Bozu is a doll made of paper or white cloth, it looks like a ghost. It is belived that is an amulet  which keeps the rain away and brings sunny days. The legend of Teru Teru Bozu it's from China, it talks from one godess called So-Chin-Nyan, who swept the rain clouds of the sky gifting the people with one sunny day.
  Always the children want a sunny day they hang one Teru Teru Bozu on the outside of the house and sing: 


"Teru-teru-bozu, teru bozu
Ashita tenki ni shite o-kure
Itsuka no yume no sora no yo ni
Haretara kin no suzu ageyo
Teru-teru-bozu, teru bozu
Ashita tenki ni shite o-kure
Watashi no negai wo kiita nara
Amai o-sake wo tanto nomasho
Teru-teru-bozu, teru bozu
Ashita tenki ni shite o-kure
Sorete mo kumotte naitetara
Sonata no kubi wo chon to kiru zo"

Which translated is:

"Teru-teru-bozu, teru bozu
Make tomorrow a sunny day
Like the sky of a dream i had
If it's sunny I will give you a golden bell
Teru-teru-bozu, teru bozu
Make tomorrow a sunny day
If my dream become reality
We'll drink much sake
Teru-teru-bozu, teru bozu
Make tomorrow a sunny day
But if it rains you will be crying
Then I cut off your head with scissors"
  

  If it works, dip the doll in sake, because it loves.
  If don't works you will have to cut of it head.

Osamu Tezuka and his Creations

All Osamu Tezuka's productions

"The mangas and animes, on all the world, were and are big influences on the lives of youngs and kids and, not for random, was create in the wonderful Japan. If you are fanatic by mangas and animes and never heard from Osamu Tezuka, you are a uninformed."

Without Osamu Tezuka, all Mangas and Animes' curious universe not existed. He start his firts drawings with 13 years old, doing caricatures of his teachers, influenced for Walt Disney's comics. When he start, he never stop. Even in more difficults sittuations, like on the 2th wordwide war, he continued doing his stories. Along of time, Tezuka improved his techniques, inventing the expressive eyes and animes. But, unfortunately, our genious died on February 9, 1989.

Japan's Culture #1 : Lolitas

Lolitas, cute girls who dress like beautiful dolls, one part of the culture of this wonderful country.There are much types of lolitas, all of they are unique, are the most classic, are the full of acessories, there are the most colorful, and much more different types, but with some thinks in common: the effort they are, the whim in choosing the smallest details with the biggest care of the world and the cuteness, the beauty of the result of all the work. Wonderful dolls, doing they wonderful work.

Japan and your Creation



Japan, the country of rising sun, has the 3th biggest popullation of the world. It's very beautiful, and is formed by four main islands, with very hard-working people and wonderful and little strange legends. Here it's a legend about the appearance of Japan.

"One day, when there no exist lands on the world, when the world has only water, one pair of gods, named of Izanagui and Izanami, received a important work: Create one land. So they go to bridge divide the Sky and the Earth. Izanagui put your sword in big and blue sea and withdrew it. His sword  fell some drops of water, that when fell, formed one empire, named of Nihon (or Japan)."
